Glenn
lived in the Himalayas from 1972 to 1984, where he studied
Tibetan language, literature, yoga, meditation and mysticism
under twenty-five of the greatest masters from Tibet. He is the
author of over a dozen books on Tibet, including Death and
Dying: The Tibetan Tradition (Penguin Arkana), Mystical Verses
of a Mad Dalai Lama (Quest Books), Tsongkhapa's Six Yogas of
Naropa (Snow Lion Publications), The Mystical Arts of Tibet (Longstreet
Press), and six titles on the lives and works of the early Dalai
Lamas (Snow Lion Publications). He acted as script consultant to
four documentary films on Tibet, worked on numerous
Tibetrelated television projects, and co-produced five
audio-recordings of Tibetan sacred temple music. He is the
recipient of an honorary good-will ambassadorship from President
Clinton.
